How long does the English level test take? +

The test consists of 20 adaptive questions and takes approximately 5 minutes. There is no time limit, so you can take as long as you need on each question.

How does the adaptive English test work? +

The test starts at A1 and adjusts difficulty in real time. If you get two questions right in a row, the level goes up. If you get one wrong, it drops. This adaptive system gives a far more accurate result than a fixed-difficulty test.

What does the English test assess? +

The test assesses grammar, vocabulary, verb tenses, conditionals, passive voice, phrasal verbs and idiomatic expressions. Questions are multiple choice with four possible answers.
