2. What data we collect and for what purpose
Rise Language Lab only collects data that the user voluntarily provides through the website's contact form:
- Name
- Email address
- Information about goals, level and interests (optional form fields)
This data is used exclusively to respond to the user's enquiry and, where applicable, to manage the commencement of the teaching services relationship. It is not used for any other purpose or shared with third parties, except as indicated below.
3. Legal basis for processing
Data processing is based on the user's consent when voluntarily submitting the contact form (Art. 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). If a service relationship is formalised, the legal basis will become the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
4. Data retention period
Data will be retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and, where applicable, for the duration of the service relationship. Once the relationship has ended and the applicable statutory limitation periods have elapsed, the data will be securely deleted.
5. Data recipients
Data is not shared with or sold to third parties. It is only communicated to:
- Email provider (own SMTP server): used for the technical delivery of the contact message. The server is located within the European Union.
6. International data transfers
The website uses Google Fonts, a service by Google LLC for loading typefaces. When your browser loads the page, it makes a request to Google''s servers (fonts.googleapis.com), which may involve the transfer of your IP address to Google servers located outside the European Economic Area. This transfer is made under the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. Google Fonts does not set cookies in the user''s browser.
No other international data transfers are made.
7. User rights
In accordance with the GDPR and Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection (LOPDGDD), you may exercise the following rights at any time:
- Access: to know what data we hold about you.
- Rectification: to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: to request deletion of your data when it is no longer necessary.
- Restriction of processing: to request that we suspend processing in certain circumstances.
- Portability: to receive your data in a structured and commonly used format.
- Objection: to object to processing where applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, send an email to info@riselanguagelab.com stating the right you wish to exercise and attaching a copy of your identity document.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): www.aepd.es.

Rise Language Lab adopts appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure, as required by the GDPR.

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in regulations or the services offered. The current version will always be available on this page with the date of the last update.
