Funded by FUNDAE

Your company can fund this training
at zero or minimal cost

Through FUNDAE (Fundación Estatal para la Formación en el Empleo — Spain's state training fund), every company registered in Spain with employees on general Social Security has an annual training credit. This credit can be applied to Business English courses for employees — including this training. Companies with 1–9 employees have a guaranteed minimum of €420 per year.

Two training formats

01

Individual lessons

For professionals who need to improve their English independently. The work focuses on their specific role, their sector and the real situations they face: meetings, emails, presentations, negotiations or dealing with international clients.

Ideal when each employee has a different profile or need, or for senior profiles with schedules that are hard to align.

02

Small groups

For teams who share a professional context and similar goals. Working together, English is practised in situations that make sense for everyone: sector vocabulary, the types of communication they actually use, the mistakes the team makes as a whole.

The small group maintains the individual attention that's lost in conventional training, while adding the conversational practice between colleagues.

Impact

Which profiles benefit most

Not everyone in a company needs the same type of English. Training has the most impact when it targets profiles with a real, concrete need:

PROFILE 01

Professionals with international contacts: clients, suppliers, partners in other countries.

PROFILE 02

Teams that work in English in writing (emails, reports, technical documentation) but lack oral fluency.

PROFILE 03

Managers or executives who take part in English-language meetings or presentations and freeze under pressure.

PROFILE 04

Customer-facing or sales staff dealing with English-speaking clients.

PROFILE 05

New hires who need to catch up with the team on international communication.

Content

What we work on in sessions

Content always starts from a prior assessment of the team or individual. There's no standard business English programme applied to everyone. Typical areas include:

Meetings

Taking the floor, structuring ideas, negotiating positions.

Written communication

Clear emails, reports, professional proposals.

Presentations

Structure, register and handling key questions.

Sector-specific language

Industry vocabulary and technical terminology.

Listening in real contexts

Accents, speech rhythm and informal vocabulary common in the work environment.

What makes it different

Why this isn't conventional English training

Most corporate English programmes use standard business English materials — the same ones for a consultancy as for an industrial company. The result is training that doesn't connect with the real work of the people receiving it, and which employees experience as time that could have been spent elsewhere.

Here, materials are designed specifically for the company's context: the sector, the type of communication the team needs, the specific mistakes they make. That means what's covered in class has direct application the following week.

Being fully online, training fits the real schedules of each employee with no commuting and no need to gather everyone in the same time slot. Each participant organises their sessions around their availability — mornings, midday or afternoons — and if they need to move a lesson, it's rescheduled to another time without losing it. For teams with demanding schedules or across different time zones, this removes the main reason corporate language training usually gets abandoned.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

Is this Business English training funded through FUNDAE?

Yes. This training is eligible for funding through FUNDAE (Fundación Estatal para la Formación en el Empleo — Spain's state training fund). All companies with employees on general Social Security contribute to a training credit each year, which can be used to fund Business English courses like this one, recovering up to 100% of the cost.

How does the FUNDAE funding process work?

There are three steps: (1) before training begins, the company notifies FUNDAE via their online platform — this prior notification is mandatory; (2) the training takes place; (3) the company deducts the funded amount directly from their Social Security contributions. We advise you through the whole process to make it as straightforward as possible.

How much can my company recover through FUNDAE?

It depends on your company's available training credit, calculated based on the number of employees and professional training contributions paid the previous year. Companies with 1–9 employees have a guaranteed minimum of €420 per year. Larger companies can recover between 60% and 100% of their annual quota. Get in touch and we'll work out exactly what your company can recover.

How many people can be in a group?

Group size is defined based on each company's context and needs. The key is keeping numbers small enough to work individually and make conversational practice genuinely useful for everyone. If the team is larger, the most effective approach is to organise several groups or combine individual sessions with occasional joint sessions.

How does the initial assessment work?

Before we begin, I speak with the company's point of contact to understand the general context, and then run a brief diagnostic session with each participant. This lets me know each person's real level, identify the team's weak points and design the content for the first sessions.

Can individual and group training be combined?

Yes. A common setup is group sessions to work on shared vocabulary and situations, plus individual sessions for profiles with specific needs (for example, a manager who presents in English frequently).

Are there minimum contract commitments?

No. Training is organised in blocks of sessions according to current needs. There's no mandatory continuity commitment, although consistency is what produces real results.

Can you issue an invoice for the company?

Yes, invoices are issued. Just share the billing details when you get in touch and we'll sort it out without any problem.
